California has fewer Affiliate Challenge Masters for the 2008/09 season than there are positions available. If you've got the experience and commitment to lead the state in one of the new challenges, please contact the Affiliate Director, Dick Pinney, or the Challenge Masters Representative, Mary Jane Campbell.  If you're not ready to lead, but would like to shadow, contact Mary Jane Campbell early in the season.
