We are asking that you please write your Congressman and ask them to support this resolution recognizing Destination ImagiNation Week.

This past week, U.S. Rep. Mike Ross of Arkansas introduced a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives that recognizes the positive effects Destination ImagiNation has had on everyone who has taken part in DI programs over the past 25 years.

In honor of Destination Imagination Inc .'s 25th anniversary as a non profit, the Board of Trustees has launched a $25 for 25 anniversary Web Donation Campaign.
Non-profits can not exist entirely on membership fees.  It takes donations big and small to ensure that the program will survive.  Corporate sponsors look at program and participation when deciding which charities to fund.  You understand the value of Destination ImagiNation program for the youth in your area.  Now it's time to show potential sponsors the participation they understand, and tally our time and dedication with a little cash.  We hope you will join with us and make a donation this year to Destination Imagination. The following Eulogy for Mata Plumb, former Regional Director of LA-DI-Land, was written and presented at her services Sunday, July 29, 2007 by our Affiliate Director, Dick Pinney, on behalf of all of us.
