The adults who help offer Destination ImagiNation in California — Team Managers, Appraisers, Volunteers, etc. — need a California Creativity user account to access the team/event sign-up pages.  This is not a team number or team account.  It is a personal account to keep track of who is performing which tournament roles.  You will need to provide a valid email address, since your initial password is emailed to you at that address.  This is not your DI Headquarters user account (shopdi.org, idodi.org, diatlas.org, ...) user account.  If you have purchased a team number there, it would be helpful if you could use the same email address, except...

Educators: The webmaster has observed that several folks do not receive their password email — so far they're all folks with school email addresses.  We use GMail, and schools often filter GMail.  If you have a personal email address, please use it when signing up.  If already have an account with a school email address and cannot reset your password (per below), send a message to the webmaster with your user name and another email address to try.  You can provide the password you want, and the webmaster will set it — but the webmaster's reply email that tells you it's been set may also not get through!  We try our best to help you provide a great educational experience for California youth — thank you for your extra effort.

If you instead see a user name in this location

1. If this is you, you're already signed in!
2. If this is your spouse, family member, co-worker, ..., hover down and click on Log out so you can proceed.

Click on LOGIN / CREATE ACCOUNT and ensure you are in the Create New Account tab.  Clicking on the various other tabs (e.g. Recover Lost Password) will underline them and take you to their screen.

Fill in the information required (*), and requested (e.g. T-Shirt size if you're an Appraiser), and click on the button at the bottom of the screen. 

When you receive your password email, log in to your account. One of the first things to do is set your password to something you can remember.  Click on ME! and then on the EDIT tab to change your account information.  [Note the example image here is for the user IDoCalDI -- your user name will be here]

If you are a returning visitor but cannot remember your password or username, click on LOGIN / CREATE ACCOUNT and then RECOVER LOST PASSWORD, and enter either the Username or email address you used when registering. A login link will be created and emailed to you. Your password is not changed (to prevent hacker mischief). Once you log in with the link, you can not use it again: use the steps above to set your password to a known value.
