Enter Team Information at California Creativity
After you Start a Team at ShopDI.org, and before you register your team for your regional tournament, you enter team information here at www.californiacreativity.org.
If you do not yet have an account, please first Create a User Account. You will also need your Team Number and DI Order Number from your ShopDI purchase.
When you're ready, hover over the ME! menu to bring up the submenus...

... and click on My team.

This will bring you to a page where you can enter your DI Order Number and Team Number, and Submit...

This will bring you to your team's information as it's stored at California Creativity. To change the information, simply type it in to the field and move on to the next field. A blue swirly icon may flash up to indicate your changes are being saved, or it may be too fast for you to see. After you enter your last text, hit Tab or click in another field so the last bit can be saved.

You're asked to provide:
- Team Name — the unique name chosen by their team that we'll use for them at the tournament.
- Level — the team's competition level
- Challenge — the challenge the team has chosen to solve this year
- County & School District — so we know where your team resides. Please provide this information even if your team is not affiliated with a school. Some regional boundaries split counties along school district lines.
- Sponsor Type & Name — some regions print this information in their program. It is often a school or community group. If it's not applicable to your team, leave it blank
- Primary & Secondary Team Contact — often the team manager(s), these are the people who should be contacted on behalf of the team. Provide at least one contact.
- Tournament Registration — this area will be more fully described in the (yet to be written) tournament registration instructions, but for now, if you know that your team needs special accomodation at your regional tournament (e.g. team member who uses a wheelchair), fill in that section now so that your regional tournament committee can plan for an appropriate venue for your challenge.
- Team Members — fill in the Name, Age that they will be on June 15, 2010, and Grade of each team member. Leave unused slots blank. Rising Stars teams may have more than 7 team members, and we want to know their names. Please list them in the space after the 7 entries.
Provide the information you have, and come back and complete it when you get more information (e.g. when the team finally settles on a name). It gets easier the second time, because the My team page will remember that you've entered information about the team and list the team number and name in a box in the left column, and give you a shortcut to edit it again. [If you are the one who purchased the Team Number at ShopDI, and your email there matches the one in your CaliforniaCreativity account, we've even filled it in for you the first time]
