Directions

If your venue is at the high school and you are following a mapping program (using the address) you will be directed to the front of the school. The large parking lot in the photo below is located at the back of the school. You may want to follow these directions to take you directly to this large parking lot:

Take Hwy 99 to Calvine Rd., Turn East onto Calvine Rd., Cross over Power Inn Road (Look for "Lowes"). Continue to next light, which is Auberry Road - turn right onto Auberry - After Auberry at the next light turn left into school parking lot (Monterey Trail High School)

Things to Note

  • We will be outside for closing ceremonies.  Bring a "wrap". Parents, bring a flashlight -- we should be done before full dark, but "just in case".
  • Instant Challenge: All team member cell phones must be turned off and given to the Team Manager or left with a parent before entering the Instant Challenge Room.  Many cell phones have a camera, and there is a zero tolerance policy for cameras in the Instant Challenge rooms.
  • All Challenge Sites:
    • Props must fit through a standard doorway – 30 inches by 76 inches.
    • All cell phones, pagers, beepers, alarms, and electronic devices that make noise must be turned off and put away before entering a Performance Site.  Do not interrupt our team Performances by adding a sound track of your own!
    • “Performance In Progress” signs will be strictly enforced!  No one is admitted to a performance site once the presentation has started.  Avoid disappointment: arrive early.
    • Raw Team Challenge scores are returned to Team Managers and Team Members only.  Instant Challenge scores do not get returned.  Scores will be posted at this web site by April 8th.
  • Prop Drop Zones are for “Loading and Unloading” only!  Please be courteous of others and keep the traffic flow moving.  Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the Prop Drop Zones!
  • Maintain the campus they way you find it!  We are visitors to this site and are all volunteers.  Please be respectful of the campus grounds and pick up your trash.
  • Props, costumes, backdrops, etc. must all leave with you.  The “pack it in, pack it out” rule applies here!  The school does not have facilities to dispose of your team’s solution.
  • Props, sets, backdrops, costumes, tools, or team equipment of any kind must be attended at all times.  Teams are responsible for the security of their own belongings.
