The Left Menus always include:

Search
Search for content at California Creativity. Note also the option to use GoodSearch to access Yahoo!'s search engine for your everyday searches and earn about 1¢ for California Creativity.
Team registration
Sign up teams at California Creativity. After purchasing membership(s) at www.shopdi.org, this is where you provide information about each team for tournament registration.
Adult roles
Sign up adults taking roles in the program, like Team Managers, Appraisers, and tournament Volunteers.
Site organization
This page, and some sub menus to see how some content is organized (Groups) and what's been posted recently.
State tournament
For ten months of the year, this just holds the results of the prior year's State Finals tournament. Just before State Finals, though, it fills with information that advancing teams will want to know.

The Left Menus will also include your account tabs if you're logged in, and group menus and calendar e.g. when looking at region-specific pages.

The Right Menu is used to log in: it disappears once you have logged in as a registered user.

Account creation walkthrough

Note: this is not your shopdi.org or idodi.org user account. It is not a membership number. People have accounts, not teams.

This site requires users to log in to access all of its features: this column goes away after you log in.

If you are a first-time visitor, click on "Create new account" just below the Log in button above to open up new pages to register as a user. You will need to provide a valid email address, since your initial password is emailed to you at that address. When you receive that email, log in to your account. One of the first things you can do is set your password to something you can remember.

School Email Addresses: The webmaster has observed that several folks do not receive their password email -- so far they're all folks with school email addresses. If this happens to you, send a message to the webmaster with the user name you're registering and the password you want, and the webmaster will set it for you. (You can change it later). My reply email to you that tells you I've set it for you may also not get through: Ugh!

If you are a returning visitor but cannot remember your password or username, click on "Request new password" and, on the new page presented, enter either the Username or email address you used when registering. A one-time login link will be created and emailed to you. Your password is not changed (to prevent hacker mischief). When you log in with the link, set your password to something you can remember.

Accounts set up here are completely independent from those maintained at Destination ImagiNation Headquarters. If you are a membership coordinator, it would be helpful to create your account here with the same email address you use at www.shopdi.org, so we can more easily see that you are the same person.
